Goldstar FC Santa Coloma did not get the victory in the 14th round of the league against Inter Club d’Escaldes in this last match of the year where they wanted to continue with the good line of results they had in the previous rounds.

The team started with the usual 1-4-2-3-1 formation with a clear game plan but in the first half it was difficult for them to adapt to the icy, slippery pitch and the good work of Inter d’Escaldes that covered the spaces well and made the match end 0-0 in the 45th minute with a good game by Goldstar but very even.

In the second half, the team came out with more ambition and it was demonstrated when, in the 50th minute, after a combined action from outside the area, Eloy Gila made the 0-1.

A momentary joy for the result that the team was unable to maintain and in 10 chaotic minutes the rival came back with 2 goals, some luck and hard play on their part. It is worth noting the significant injury to Kilian Grant that in a clash with the rival caused severe swelling on his forehead and although he tried to continue playing he had to be replaced because he was dizzy.

Changes were made and Goldstar kept trying, they had a few clear chances towards the end of the second half but the time ended without having succeeded, leaving the final result 2-1 and a bad taste for the Christmas break.
