Great days for the history of the national soccer that has completed this last week the Selection Sub16 of soccer.
The boys of Oscar Sonejee have proclaimed champions of the UEFA Development Tournament held in Malta. Among them is our player Pau Pijuan, starter in the last match with number 20
ANDORRA – GIBRALTAR (1-0)
In the first game, the Sub16 surpassed Gibraltar with a solitary goal of Izan Fernández. A very solid match for a selection that debuted in the tournament in the best possible way, but the best, was still to come.

ANDORRA – MALTA (2-0)
In the second match, the Andorrans were facing  the hosts. A 2-0 against Malta that left the equipment in a good position. The goals of Joel Guillén and José Almeida closed the second victory in Malta.

ANDORRA – ARMENIA (1-1)
On the last day, the dream would come true. Andorra drew 1 to Armenia. An Izan goal in the 76th minute gave a point to a selection that with the final whistle gave way to an anecdotal penalty shootout.
Although Armenia converted 5 and Andorra 3, the point achieved during the 80 minutes was enough to make the Sub 16, left of Malta as champion of this Development Tournament.
