Don Denis F.C. Santa Coloma is already mathematically champion of the Andorran Becier League in the fourth match of the Play Off. They’ve achieved the third consecutive most important title of Andorra.

Although the tie was enough too for  F.C. Santa Coloma in order to be proclaimed Champion, the team took the initiative in a tough game and they deserved the victory.

Don Denis had the first chance after 5 minutes from the start of the match thanks to a Cristian Martinez opportunity  after a great pass from Juanfer.

After 11 minutes it was Cristian’s chance again but he didn’t understand Marc Pujol to finish a lateral center. Just before the break, Riera combed a pass of Fabio Sierra, but Eloy Casals refused the ball.

The persistence of Don Denis in the opponent field against Lusitanos, who tried to steal the ball without much success, and without knowing how to avoid the pressure off Imbernón’s boys and generate counterattacks, gave another great opportunity for the leader. Xaime Noguerol stole the ball, made a change of the game, diagonally to the right, and there Cristian Martinez came like a thunderbolt, found the ball in his feet but the Andorran international player defined it on the side of the score.

Don Denis continued the siege and in the 71 minute, just after a corner performed by Marc Pujol at the near post, Nando jumped more than anyone else to shoot at goal. People became crazy with joy but did not last long because the referee disallowed the goal, which was perfectly valid for a nonexistent foul on Lusitanos goalkeeper.

Despite Santa Coloma deserved to win, the tie is sufficient in order to become Andorran Champions and ensure the participation in the Champions League again this year!
