Collaboration Vallbanc FC Santa Coloma with Cooperand
January 8, 2018
The Club has been in contact with the Association Cooperand for a long time. They develope projects in Bolivia focused on the protection and care of street children in
a country where the rates of child abandonment are alarming and they have to face the marginality by living poorly among drugs, delinquency and suffering exploitations of all kinds.
Cooperand works with the Don Bosco project in Santa Cruz de Bolivia to provide protection and training to more than 2,000 street children,
abandoned or at risk of exclusion with 8 foster homes
distributed throughout the city.
Sport is a very important part in rehabilitation and training
of these children and young people. Knowing the passion they have for football
we also wanted to make a small contribution by donating the
first team outfits new from the last season and it made us
very happy to know that they liked it and that right away
they received them they started playing.

After talking with Carla Riestra, President of Cooperand and the volunteers who were with them, we were very happy to know that they were excited because although they receive donations, they get almost always second-hand things and they liked that the kits were new, packed and with labels and that they were the first to wear them because they are not used to have new things.
Although ours is a very small contribution within all the needs they have, we are very happy to have sent a bit of hope from Andorra these days. From Vall Banc FC Santa Coloma we will continue supporting Cooperand initiatives and we thank them for the wonderful work that they carry out day by day with these children.
