The 7th day of the Andorran league pitted Goldstar FC Santa Coloma against Unió Esportiva Santa Coloma.
The team came out with a 1-5-3-2 game scheme against a rival that stands out for its skill in aerial play. The team started the first half very focused and it was in the first few minutes that they had the clearest chances of the entire match, but neither Mario Mourelo nor Miguel Ángel Gómez were able to materialize them after several attempts.
The second half was marked by the expulsion of Goldstar’s goalkeeper José Bejarano, who saw a direct red card, a very harsh assessment by the referee, after an action outside the area. This fact conditioned the rest of the match by having to play with one player less than the last 30 minutes of the match.
Obviously, the rival team took used the numerical advantage to gain control of the ball and in the 86th they scored the final 0-1.
First defeat for Goldstar this season in a very physical game in which both teams saw many yellow cards and that leaves a rather unfair result given the opportunities the team had and how things happened.
