Talking about the history of FC Santa Coloma means talking about the history of the Andorran football since the Club is one of the founders of the Andorran First Division and its presence has been instrumental in the growth and development of the sport in the Principality. Development which remains a participant in their day to day, approaching football to the people, encouraging citizen participation, fair play and publicizing the Andorran football across Europe.

 

The FC Santa Coloma, who represents the municipality that shares the same name, was founded in 1986 thanks to the effort of a group of enthusiasts of the sport and joined the Andorran Football Federation in 1994, when that institution was established . We are the team with most titles in the country and the only team that has won 11 national leagues, the last 4 consecutive.

The Andorran Federation became a member of UEFA and FIFA in 1996 and the 2001-2002 was the first season that the FC Santa Coloma participated in the European competition, specifically the UEFA Cup, equivalent to the current Europa League.

Since then it has always remained in the first division of the National League.

The Club is an ordinary member of the ECA, European Club Association, and its General Director, Annabel Llevot, is the only Andorran representative who actively participates in the activities and discussions that defend and guarantee the interests of the European Clubs following a model of representation, participation, cooperation and service.

The Santa Coloma is an open, close Club, with well-defined values and principles such as respect, effort, teamwork and the ambition to continue growing year after year.
